Rehabilitative Gerontology

Gerontology is the science of age and aging. Age describes a condition and is usually used in relation to the phase of life in old age. Aging describes the process of growing older and the associated mechanisms.

Gerontology focuses on the everyday lives of aging people and their relatives. It is an interdisciplinary field that combines perspectives from psychology, medicine, pedagogy, social sciences, biology, and rehabilitation sciences.
