Das Workbook Arts Education ist eine partizipative Plattform, auf der neue Konzepte und innovative Ideen für den Kunstunterricht und die Kulturelle Medienbildung im Horizont fortschreitender Digitalisierung publiziert werden. Die Beiträge des Workbooks sind nach Kategorien, Themen, Zielgruppen und Tools systematisiert und frei verfügbar. Alle Beiträge sind aus der Praxis für die Praxis entwickelt worden, um diese konsequent weiterzudenken und stetig durch aktuelle Bezüge zu erweitern. Das Projekt MYOW – Make Your Own Workbook wurde 2016 durch Torsten Meyer, Kristin Klein, Gila Kolb und Konstanze Schütze am Institut für Kunst & Kunsttheorie der Universität zu Köln initiiert und ist Teil des gemeinsamen Forschungsschwerpunktes Post-Internet Arts Education. Es nimmt die stark gewandelten Bedingungen für kunstpädagogische Praxis und kulturelle Medienbildung im Internet State of Mind (Carson Chan) in den Blick und setzt sich zum Ziel, Konsequenzen für Bildung in Auseinandersetzung mit Künsten und Medien im fortgeschrittenen 21. Jahrhundert zu entwickeln. Das Workbook versammelt in der Praxis entwickelte und umgesetzte Beiträge zu aktuellen Themen vor dem Hintergrund weltweit vernetzter Communities und global zirkulierender Bildwelten und verknüpft dabei Forschung, schulische und außerschulische Praxis miteinander. The Workbook Arts Education is a participative platform on which new concepts and innovative ideas for art education and cultural media education are published in the horizon of increasing digitalization. The contributions of the workbook are systematized according to categories, topics, target groups and tools and are freely available. All contributions have been developed from practice for practice, in order to consistently think ahead and constantly expand them through current references. The project MYOW - Make Your Own Workbook was initiated in 2016 by Torsten Meyer, Kristin Klein, Gila Kolb and Konstanze Schütze at the Institute for Art & Art Theory at the University of Cologne and is part of the joint research focus Post-Internet Arts Education. It focuses on the strongly changed conditions for art educational practice and cultural media education in the Internet State of Mind (Carson Chan) and sets itself the goal of developing consequences for education in the dialogue with arts and media in the 21st century. The workbook brings together contributions developed and implemented in practice on current topics against the background of globally networked communities and globally circulating visual worlds, linking research, academic and extracurricular practice.
