Diese Forschung möchte der Frage nachgehen, wie der „Pädagogische Takt“ in den jeweiligen Schulkulturen in Deutschland und Japan verstanden und praktiziert wird. Dieses Vorhaben ist ein Kooperationsprojekt von Prof. Dr. Shoko Suzuki, Universität Kyoto, Institute of Education und Prof. Dr. Jörg Zirfas, Department Erziehugns- und Sozialwissenschaften der Universität zu Köln. Der „Pädagogische Takt“ wird in der Pädagogik vor allem als eine spezielle Kompetenz der Lehrenden verstanden. Hierbei werden verschiedene Gesichtspunkte wichtig: Wie nimmt die Lehrperson die Schülerinnen und Schüler wahr? Wie beurteilt er sie? Wie geht er mit ihnen konkret um? Wie gestaltet er die persönliche Beziehung zu ihnen? Gibt es hier spezifische rituelle Verhaltensweisen? Wie vermittelt die Lehrperson Wertschätzung und Anerkennung?

This research aims to investigate the question of how the "pedagogical tact" is understood and practiced in the respective school cultures in Germany and Japan. This project is a cooperative project of Prof. Dr. Shoko Suzuki, University of Kyoto, Institute of Education and Prof. Dr. Jörg Zirfas, Department of Education and Social Sciences, University of Cologne. In pedagogy, the "pedagogical tact" is understood above all as a special competence of the teachers. Various aspects become important here: How does the teacher perceive the pupils? How does he judge them? How does he deal with them in concrete terms? How does he shape the personal relationship with them? Are there specific ritual behaviours? How does the teacher convey appreciation and recognition?
